Reluctantly agreeing to give Marnie and Eggbert a lift, Elvis pretends to be gruff and tough and refuses to stop to collect Mambo (Phil Lewis), a performing zebra who is trying to catch up with the circus.
In the film, we see Liz visit Ted, revealing to him that she was the one who called the police and gave them his name, shocking her ex. But according to Rule, who was friends with the serial killer after meeting him at a crisis hotline center they both worked at in Seattle, Ted knew back in 1976 that Liz had called the police.

In an interview with Thrillist, Berlinger talked about his decision to not really depict any of Ted’s crimes in the film.
Directed by Aaron Kunkel and produced by none other than Lance Bass (which explains the numerous shots of him nodding at his mother while they discuss his childhood), The Boy Band Con is a surprisingly thorough indictment of how this music-industry party-crasher made millions off of those two bands yet still short-changed both groups. It also delves into some of the more disreputable rumors regarding his interest in having all of those young, sinewy bodies around his Florida compound (a few of the stories relayed by the talking-head interviewees will make you want to take a “Silkwood shower” ASAP). But it also doubles as an interesting look back at the boy-band phenomenon itself, as we can see the very beginnings of the wave and pinpoint the moment it begins to crest.

When Lex Luger composed the beat for Rick Ross’ “MC Hammer,” he was down on his luck and doubtful about his prospects. “If you listen to it, you can tell,” he later told Complex. “I was going through some times with this whole music thang, you know what I’m saying? I felt like I wasn’t getting nowhere. My name really wasn’t buzzing. I didn’t think I could be like how Drumma Boy and them were. People always told me it ain’t gonna get me nowhere. It wouldn’t get me the real money.”
One of the first voices listeners hear on the album’s opening track is that of RZA on the hook, yelling, “Bring da muthafuckin’ ruckus!” And that’s exactly what he did with 36 Chambers. Full of murky, mechanical beats and soulful samples, spliced with sound bites from classic kung fu flicks, the album was like nothing rap fans had heard before. Created outside of the glossy music industry, it was the direct kick to the nuts that the game needed.
Stahelski: It was creating heroes — how do you do that? The Wachowskis took a page out of the Hong Kong book and decided let’s get the cast members and train the s**t out of them in martial arts choreography. That takes an enormous amount of time. And wire work may look fun, but it’s painful. You’re in a tiny little harness, and it’s wrecking your hips and squeezing your other parts, so the level of endurance you have to go through every day, for months? It’s phenomenal. Very few people do what the Wachowskis were demanding of their cast. And the evidence of that? Have you seen anything that’s close to The Matrix since?
