Would be good if money went to those who were injured. Fines are small….companies build in contingency costs to cover fines when they figure the cost of a job. If you want real worker safety, need to have real fines that cause real corporate hardships…of course most fines either covered through insurance or fees paid by customers…no real dent in profits from OSHA or other fines…no real incentive to provide a safe workplace.
